ABOUT TANGLED ROOTS

The Radford Mill TANGLED ROOTS Festival is a bringing together of the musical roots of modern music including musical traditions from around the world, folk music from across Europe and the America’s, contemporary folk performers, Americana, and modern acoustic interpretations. There will be performances from carefully selected local, national, and international artist, a focus on acoustic performances, quality song writing and musicianship.

A well as artists performances the festival encourages participation with open stage spots and campfire session late into the night. Bring your instrument and your voice. (accoustic only around the campfire – no amps and no drums please) The festival is intended to be a small scale and intimate affair, and tickets numbers will be limited to a maximum of 500.

The festival takes place in the beautiful grounds of Radford Mill Farm in Timsbury, south of the City of Bath. The festival grounds are bisected by the Cam Brook and have been landscaped to include an amphitheatre area, fire pit and many lovely spots for enchanting and memorable experiences.

There are several camping areas on site, some just a short stroll from the main arena and the car park. Each camping field has running water and compost toilets.

Our intention is to make this a festival that values quality over quantity and provides a beautiful experience for those lucky enough to have discovered us.
